10 seconds into the Daft Punk ‘Get Lucky’ teaser and we just knew that it was going to be the soundtrack to the summer (it features Pharell, so how could it not be?). What we hadn’t vouched for, is that it would take on viral proportions, particularly not in the fashion-fabulous sense, which is what makes this pop-parody so bloody brilliant.
Created for Monday evening’s CFDA Awards Ceremony, the fashion pack managed to persuade a choir’s worth of particularly handsome male models to sing their own rather fabulous – if not a little eery and off-key – version of the hit song.
Dressed to showcase the three menswear award nominees’ collections; Thom Browne, Michael Bastian and Duckie Brown, the models worked the camera in an ode to the French Daft Punk duo, and of course, fashion darling.
