Green People have come up with a range of award winning sun care products. And as I am now in the sun it is a good time to try them out.
I am a sunscreen sceptic. I don’t believe it works, I still manage to burn and this is perhaps because I hate it being on my skin, it is clammy and drying. I think I don’t apply enough because I hate the feel and smell.
Green People`s sun protection contains a blend of earth minerals and edelweiss together with a natural sunscreen filter derived from cinnamon to naturally protect the skin from nasty UVA and UVB rays.
It is fragrance free.
It goes on very nicely, it has a kind of satiny finish and feels naturally moisturising.
It is rich in anti oxidants, anti ageing and anti-inflammatory agents and is good for people with sensitive skin. It delivers Vitamin A, C and E, which comes from avocado and rosemary extract all of which help support the skin`s immune system and protect against cellular damage. Myrrh and aloe vera are in the mix for their soothing and moisture binding properties.
What is really nice about the sun lotion with SPF 25 is the way it seeps into your skin without being thick and pore clogging. It feels soft and glowy and not in the least bit drying and so far it has been extremely long lasting. It is not something that easily sweats off, as it seems to work on a very deep level.
