There’s another high end designer going high tech. Carolina Herrera is currently testing a mobile style app, called Herrera Style, that will become become publicly available later this month. But don’t go reaching for your phones just yet, fashion fans. The app will be available by invite only, targeting the luxury fashion brand’s most loyal customers.
Herrera Style will connect give the brand’s sales associates a direct way to communicate with clients, to inform them about trunk shows and new arrivals. Sales associates will also be on hand to talk to customers using the app about their current wardrobe, and possible new additions (from Herrera’s collections, of course). Users can also shop directly from the app, put items on hold for up to 48 hours, and have them either delivered or packed for in-store pickup.
The app’s designers believe it will give loyal Carolina Herrera customers a new way to connect with the brand, and potential customers in areas like the Middle East and and Southeast Asia where brick-and-mortar stores aren’t readily available. Carolina Herrera joins the ranks of other luxury brands like Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Gucci going mobile and interacting with customers in a new way with style apps.
