Jessie Pavelka is an Internationally recognised Health and Wellbeing Expert who hosts Sky TVs ‘Obese: A Year to Save my Life’ In the US he was a trainer on NBC’s ‘Biggest Loser’, hosted ‘Dietribe’ on Lifetime TV and appeared on Oprah’s OWN network.
Jessie Pavelka has just launched his new health and fitness app called JP4, the format is looking at your health with a 360 approach using his four elements as a guide. Eat, Sweat, Think & Connect; with these in mind his aim is to give you the tools, knowledge and inspiration to look at what you do every day that impacts your health and diet. This is not a quick fix, he is not promising you will lose weight in a few weeks, he wants to encourage you to look at your lifestyle, your every day habits and see what is making you gain weight or feel sluggish with no energy.
Not everyone wants to go to the gym and with the amount of science behind things like walking, breathwork and getting ourside with nature being so good for you, you’ll be pleased to hear the treadmill can be the last place to go. It’s about getting more active, enjoying being what you are doing and being able to maintain these healthy habits regularly. If you have a day when you just have to eat pizza or you give in to a bar of chocolate (we’ve all beeen there, we are human after all) then just make sure the rest of the week you are more mindful of what your diet and exercise schedule is. It’s what you do most of the time that is going to define your body shape and energy levels, not what you do once in a while.
It was refreshing to meet Jessie and talk to him about his work globally in the fitness industry and see how his app will help you to improve your lifestyle and not just your body but your connection to others as well as nature. It’s important to have a healthy mindset if you want to really stick to any kind of change in diet and make these new habits work for you.
