Talk of a new Chanel No.5 fragrance came out onto our social media feeds earlier this month and with that, a new face – Lily Rose Depp.
The 16-year old is already making her mark in the fashion world, and currently fronts Chanel eyewear. It turns out that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree – and Lily is following in the footsteps of her supermodel mother, Vanessa Paradis, who was a Chanel ambassador and the face for the Coco Chanel fragrance.
The new Chanel No.5 L’Eau is a unique version of the classic scent, centred around the same May rose notes as the original No.5.
A statement from Chanel says that Lily “embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the House her youthful freshness and beauty.”
The fragrance will be released in autumn of this year, along with a campaign directed by Johan Renck. We can’t wait to see what Lily has in store for Chanel…
