Most of you must have come across those makeup brushes that look a bit like tooth brushes right? How well do they work?
Once this innovative brush design came onto the market they were named as revolutionary and set to be complete game changers amongst makeup brushes. Artis Brushes are the modern take on makeup application, and have invented an innovative range of premium beauty tools.
I was lucky to try out the Artis Oval 10 Brush from the Elite Mirror Collection – and I must say it is pretty special to use. This brush is designed to provide coverage to larger areas of the face and body… making it quite unique.
First of all, the Artis brushes look incredibly elegant, with the chrome mirroring and white packaging. If I’m honest once the brush arrived it was SO much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The Oval 10 brush is packed out with 250,000 fibres and my it is super super soft. I couldn’t stop touching it.
The Oval 10 is best used for the application of foundation, bronzer and tan products. This includes anything from a liquid to powder – and as it is such a large size it is totally one-of-a-kind.
Your foundation is applied to perfection, depositing and buffing in products effortlessly and in the quickest time possible. This brush is definitely a game changer for bronzing/highlighting on your collar bones or any cover up products you wish to apply on any parts of your body! No other brushes match up to this one for the job.
It comes at a cost of £55 (from Space NK). You use less product with this brush too, as it doesn’t absorb like other brushes can do. For those who would like to know – Artis use special fibres for their brushes which are called CosmeFibre making them cruelty-free, more hygienic to use and easier to clean.
Now I’m wanting to try out more, if not all, of their makeup brushes to add to my collection…
