Norman Parkinson Century of Style

If you’re looking for somewhere to get your sartorial fix now that fashion month is over, look no further than London’s National Theatre who, as of this month will be hosting the Lifework: Norman Parkinson’s Century of Style exhibition.

Often considered the father of modern fashion photography, this year marks the centenary of Norman Parkinson’s birth, and so, to celebrate, the exhibition will covering all aspects of his career up until his death in 1990, including his use of exotic far flung locations, unexpected props and unusual juxtapositions that are now considered commonplace in the world of fashion photography.

 Lifework: Norman Parkinson’s Century of Style at the National Theatre, from 1 March – 12 May. Entrance is free.
