Sara Pope x BareMinerals
Artist Sara Pope has collaborated with Bare Minerals to create a series of limited edition prints. The two began this journey together as Bare Minerals was releasing their new line of lip and blush balms, ‘Pop of Passion’. Pope uses oils to create her images as she loves the high gloss results it achieves. She also creates the images using bare minerals makeup brushes; further linking the two’s collaborative process.
BareMinerals released their ‘Pop of Passion’ range of balm products that add a pop of colour to your look. The ‘Pop of Passion’ lip oil-balms provide a sheer to medium coverage and are available in 8 colours, from neutral to bright tones. Containing multiple oils these balms provide nourishing ingredients that leave your lips feeling hydrated whilst also giving them a wash of colour. Released in June these balms cost £16 each and can be used to create a bold lip colour on or patted lightly onto lips for a more subtle tint effect. At the same time BareMinerals also released their limited edition blush balms. Available in 3 shades these creamy balms also nourish the skin as well as having a smooth lightweight feel. The blush balms are sold for £20 each and are easily applied.
If you are interested in seeing more of Sara Pope’s work, she is having a pop-up exhibition from Tuesday 30 June- Sunday 5th July at the Pop-Up Gallery, Boxpark, Shoreditch. The exhibition will include her popular Lips series as well as launching the first edition of portrait of His Holiness Pope Francis I. Sara Pope will also be holding a Q&A event on Thursday 2nd July from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Boxpark.
